18 MONTHS OLD!!!

I am now 18 MONTHS OLD, and boy have I done some growing!! I now weigh 25.5 pounds and I'm 32 inches tall. I can no longer stretch wearing my clothes, like I used to do. I can only wear 18mos or bigger. The past 3 months have been very exciting for me, I've gotten to do a lot of things, & of course meet my baby brother! I celebrated my second 4th of July & mommy & Gma Carls made me a special outfit to wear that day. I loved the fireworks, I sat in daddy's lap very quietly and watch them. Mommy was on something called bedrest for a long time, so daddy was home with me a lot. He was doing all the taking care of & playing with me. Sometimes we would hang out with mommy in bed, & every once in a while she would come downstairs & spend time with us. Daddy was always very tired during that time, mommy said he finally learned what it is like to be with me all day!! I spent a lot of time with Aunt Martha too, spending nights with her & Uncle Brian because mommy had to go to the hospital. In August Gma Carls came to visit me...well me & meet my baby brother. I went on a lot of walks with Gma & she took me to the new park that was built in our town a lot to play. It was a lot of fun. After Avery came to live with us, not live in the hospital anymore, Nana Fedeson came to visit us too! I loved having both of my grandmas here with me. I also loved having my baby brother at home. I want to hug & kiss & hold him all the time. Mommy taught me a new word, GENTLE, because sometimes I was too rough with Avery. I like having bath time with him, I try to share my toys, but mommy says I cannot do that yet. I've become a very helpful boy, I like to throw the diapers in the diaper pail for mommy & daddy & I LOVE to help mommy clean. My favorite is the vacuum!! I just love to use it. I love vacuums so much Gma & Gpa Carls bought me one. Speaking of Gpa Carls, he came to visit me & Avery too. I had a lot of fun playing with him. He taught me how to march & he sings a song for me. Gpa even took me outside to ride my tricycle a couple of times. I've learned some new words in baby sign language, I now know, "gentle & thank you". I speak a lot of words too, more that mommy & daddy understand, but also a lot of what mommy calls jibber jabber. I can say, "toot toot (usually after I pass gas, which is often), choo choo, sure, gentle, tuh-tuh (that's Jonesy...lol), & ball". I also try to repeat just about any word mommy & daddy say. I've started feeding myself with a spoon or fork, I don't need mommy or daddy's help too much anymore. I'm only taking one nap now, but I sleep usually 12.5 hours a night. Well, I'm growing "too fast" mommy & daddy say, but I like learning all the new things I have. I love to read books & I love learning from my favorite kids show, "The Little Einsteins". Mommy & daddy bought me some videos to watch, and I love them, my favorite is the songs. I made up my own baby sign for the show, when I want to watch it, I use both of my hands an pat on my legs, because they do that in the show. Mommy & daddy know exactly what I want, & then they usually put it on for me. I hope you enjoy the photos there are A LOT again! Until next time, enjoy! Love, Greyson
