11 Months Old

This has been quite a month! I finally got to share that I'm going to be a big brother, & I'm really excited about that. I've been to the doctors with mommy 3 times now and got to see my baby brother or sister on a tv. Mommy & daddy were very happy to watch the tv, and they got pictures of my new baby too. I've been practicing sharing my toys, with Jonesy. We play very well together. I try to give him my toys, but mommy always tells him, "NO" so he never takes them. I also like to get his bone, that mommy lets him take from me, we play tug-of-war with the bone. It's really fun. I grew a whole inch this month, I'm 28.5 inches, but I didn't gain any weight, I actually went down a couple pounds, now 18.6 pounds. Mommy says it's because I'm "growing like a weed" & I'm very "active". I also have SIX teeth now!! I try to get into everything I can. I like to rearrange things, push things all around the living room. I don't care what it is, an empty box, laundry basket, ottoman, or my toy basket. I like helping mommy do the laundry too, she folds all the clothes & I like to unfold them, & make my own pile, she doesn't like it so much. I'm eating very well still, mommy added mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, & yogurt to my menu. I LOVE yogurt, it's my new favorite. Nana & Papa got to see my reaction once I finish it over a skype session. I don't like when the yogurt is gone, I get pretty upset and cry a lot. The most important thing to happen this month is, I TOOK MY FIRST STEPS!! On Valentine's Day, I decided to walk to mommy & took 4 steps from the coffee table to her on the couch. Then I took 3 steps from the coffee table to mommy, sitting on the floor. I haven't started walking fully yet, I still get a little scared, but I have been taking more & more steps over the past month. Mommy & daddy let me walk around post a lot, they will both hold my hands, so I can do it "by myself". I love it, it makes me giggle a lot. Walking is fun.
