Four Months Old

Hi Y'all!! I am now FOUR MONTHS OLD!! Life has been very exciting...still. I've grown quite a bit since my last update. I'm now weighing 17 pounds. At my 4 month check-up (done Aug 7th) I weighed 15.64 pounds. So just since then I've gained some weight. Mommy calls me "A Load". I've also grown in height, I'm now 25 inches long. I fit most into 3-6 month clothing, with some of it being tight, because I have such a big belly. I didn't take any trips this past month, daddy was away for two weeks for training, so it was just mommy and I (oh and Jonesy & Allie). I still can't roll over, but I like to roll onto my side a lot. Once I get there, I just lay there and watch tv and suck my thumb. Yes, I love tv, I like all the bright colors coming from it. I enjoyed watching the Olympics with mommy and daddy. My favorite was beach volleyball. I would "zone out" as mommy calls it, whenever that was on. She says I'm just like daddy in that department, I take after him, and zoning out. When I'm on my playmat, I can roll and move so much that I can go in a complete circle. I like being on it now, I can reach all the dangling toys. They are fun to play with. I still love bath time, I like to splash the water, it's fun. My sleeping habits have improved, I mostly sleep more than 9 hours at a time now, will wake up to nurse, and then go back to sleep for 2-3 more hours. I only take a few naps during they day, ranging from 20 minutes to an hour, but I don't do that every day. I like to see what is going on, I don't want to miss anything. Mommy and daddy say they enjoy their sleep at night though. Mommy and daddy are going to start me on rice cereal, mommy is excited about making homemade cereal for me. I'm also going to be taking my first airplane ride soon, going to America. I will be staying with Grandma and Grandpa Carls for a few months. Grandma Fedeson is going to try to come visit me in California too. It will be her first time there, just like me. I look forward to "seeing" you at my next update. Here are some photos to enjoy!!
