AVERY'S 2-6 MONTHS!!!

*Note from Mommy... I'm so sorry I have not kept up on Avery's part of the blog. Life is super busy with two little ones. Finding the time to sit at my computer for a few hours to write & load photos is just not going to happen. So, I've been working on this one, for a while now, letting photos load when I can, & finally had some time to "write" out his updates. This is a long post, but I hope you enjoy all the photos & learning about our boys!

I am now TWO MONTHS OLD! I weight 12.7 pounds & am 23.5 inches long. I love to sleep & only wake sometimes, when I'm really hungry. When I am awake, I like to smile & laugh. Mommy & Daddy say I'm such a good boy because I had a very bad rash, that had me in & out of the doctor's a lot, & I even saw a few specialists. Mommy & Daddy were praying that it would go away & it finally did. It was on my bum, & it hurt me very bad, but I still smile & laugh as much as I could, so you would never have known. Mommy had been doing everything the doctors had said to do, but she finally gave up doing what they said, & just used gobs & gobs (as she says) of Desitin & IT WORKED!! Now, I am an even happier baby. I had to say goodbye to both Gma & Gpa Carls this month, that didn't make me happy. But I do have my big brother to keep me company. He loves to hold me, kiss me & play with me. He's a lot of fun. I'm getting so big, and LONG that I'm in my three month clothes already, & they are fitting good. Love, Avery

I am now THREE MONTHS OLD & I weigh 13.5 pounds & I'm 24.5 inches long. I celebrated my first Halloween this month, & I got to go to my very first Pumpkin Patch. We had a lot of fun walking up & down the rows to pick the perfect pumpkins. It was a nice sunny day too, so we really enjoyed being outside. I also got a "new" toy this month. It was big brother's play mat & I love it. I like to try to reach for the toys, but I can't quite grasp them yet. Mommy & Daddy took Greyson & I to a Harvest Festival on post, & we got to wear costumes & I was an elephant. Greyson was a duck. I was too little to do any of the games, but Greyson enjoyed them a lot, & I had fun watching him. All the ladies there were swooning over me, well at least that is what mommy said. We also had some family pictures done & had some of just me. I'll share a few with you down below. Love, Avery

I am now FOUR MONTHS OLD!!! I weigh 14.8 pounds & am 25 inches long. Firsts Firsts First, that's the kind of month I had. I experienced my very first snow, it was pretty. I also had my first Thanksgiving. A. Martha & U. Brian came over and had dinner with us, as well as our friend Steve. I got my first taste of Christmas music, I've learned mommy loves it & would listen to it all the time, but daddy says "no!" I had my first date... well mommy & daddy had a date & I tagged along. Greyson got to go stay with A. Martha & U. Brian. I met Santa for the first time & I really liked him. I just smiled at him & he made me laugh. And... I went to my very first Christmas Tree Farm to pick out my first Christmas tree!! This was a busy month... & I probably won't remember any of it. It was a lot of fun though. I love to play on the play mat, & have Greyson join me. He makes me laugh a lot, he's very funny. He's my buddy. I can't wait until I'm bigger so I can really play with him. Love, Avery

I am now FIVE MONTHS OLD!! I've gained a lot of weight this time, I now weigh 16.4 pounds & I'm 26 inches long. I got to celebrate my first Christmas. I didn't understand what was going on too much, but daddy was helping me pull a lot of paper off of a lot of boxes. Before that though, I had a lot of other things happen, along with my growing. I've started babbling a lot. I like to talk, it's fun. I went to two Christmas Markets, one in a very old Palace (over a thousand years old) where I mostly slept that night. I took my very first train ride to get there too. After Christmas we went to visit mommy's cousin who is also in Germany. We toured a castle with him, & went to his base for dinner. Then I had my first New Year's but I don't really know what it was because I slept all night long. A few days after that, I took my first airplane ride. Mommy's Grandma, my Great Grandma passed away. Mommy was very sad because she didn't get to meet me, in person. She did see me a lot of times on skype though, so that makes mommy a little less sad. I got to fly to Delaware, & then Washington (state). From there we flew to California. I got to meet A. Sarah & U. Michael for the first time. I met a lot of other people too. I loved seeing Gma & Gpa again. My Nana Fedeson even came to see me & I loved seeing her too. When Nana was with us, I got to go to the beach for my very first time. I also got pretty sick & had a double ear infection. That was not fun. I had a bad cough that really hurt me. I saw a doctor there, & he gave me yucky medicine that I did not like to take. But I got better, & just in time for my five month birthday, & the day I was baptized with my brother Greyson. A. Sarah, A. Martha & U. Brian are my Godparents. We had a fun day, that day. We even had a cake, but I didn't get any. I can't wait until I'm big enough to eat big people food, it looks yummy. Love, Avery

It's my HALF BIRTHDAY, I am now SIX MONTHS OLD!! I grew the most this past month, I'm now 27 inches & I weigh 19 pounds. Mommy says I'm chunking up a lot. This month I had to say goodbye to a lot of people, Gma & Gpa Carls, Nana Fedeson, A. Sarah & U. Micheal. I had a lot of fun with them. I had a very hard time adjusting back to Germany time & mommy & daddy did not like that. I was up at all hours of the night. I LOVE to talk a lot now, & I talk to my brother the most. I like to play with him. He makes me laugh so much. I am always reaching for him, trying to get him. He likes to give me a lot of kisses, & I always accept them. I got a new toy this month, well, it's not new, but it is to me. I got Greyson's old bouncer & I love it. It plays music & lights up. I can bounce & bounce & bounce. We had a lot of snow, & got to play outside in it several times. Mommy tried to make a snow angel with me, but I didn't like it. Mommy started taking us for walks a couple of times a week. It's a 2 mile walk, & I mostly sleep while we are out. But my biggest news it that I cut my first tooth! It was pretty painful, but I have one lonely tooth. Mommy keeps checking for another one, but it hasn't come through yet. Well, I'll leave you with lots more photos to enjoy & I'll see you next month. Love, Avery
